Enjoy a short flight to Rifle, Colorado (KRIL) and shuttle to Glenwood Springs, CO for two days of adventure, fun and relaxation with friends. Ride the Glenwood Adventure Park gondola to the top of Iron Mountain for tours of Kingís Row and Fairy caves inside Iron Mountain. Yes, if you prefer a higher adrenaline option you can take in the adventure rides instead of the cave tours or both as time allows. Raft the Class II-IV Shoshone rapids of the scenic Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon. Stroll through town or visit the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and dine with friends and fellow CPA members before embarking on our flights back home.

Friday, 8/18
Morning: We will fly to Rifle, CO (KRIL) arriving prior to 10:30 am then we will shuttle to our hotel in Glenwood to drop off bags before heading out for lunch.

After lunch: Attendees will have the option to relax in town or take the cave tours inside Iron Mountain or ride the Adventure rides at Glenwood Adventure Park.

General Information:
Each attendee will be responsible for their own room, meals and bringing a beverage and snack for our happy hour. A group dinner will be arranged Friday evening. Attendees will be on their own for dinner Saturday evening. It is recommended to make dinner reservations in advance for Saturday evening if you have a specific restaurant in mind.

Accommodations:
A Group Block of 10 rooms are being held under the Colorado Pilots Association at the Silver Spruce Inn. All rooms are non-smoking and 8 of the rooms include a single queen bed per room (for a total cost of $331.08 for two nights) and 2 rooms include two queen beds (for a total cost of $397.74 for two nights). Room rates include a complimentary grab and go breakfast from 7:00-9:00 am daily. The Silver Spruce Inn is located at 162 W 6th Street Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
 
Reserve your room:
Each attendee or couple that are planning to occupy a room must contact the Silver Spruce Inn at 970 945-5458 by August 4, 2023 to move one of the 10 block rooms over to be reserved in their own name and with their own credit card.  Any rooms not reserved by August 4, 2023 will be released.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation or changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to 3:00 pm of the check in date to avoid the first night’s charge.

Transportation & Costs while in Glenwood Springs:
Vans will provide transportation to and from Rifle and while in Glenwood Springs. The transportation/registration cost is $60/pp, paid in advance with your reservation. Please make checks out to Colorado Pilots Association.

Besides your room charge indicated above, meals and incidentals, the following details the other costs for this trip. The gondola and cave tours ticket prices for the 2023 season have not yet been set, however last year the prices were ~$45/pp for the Gondola and cave tours, https://www.glenwoodcaverns.com.
