KLMO - Longmont City Council Meeting

Longmont City Council is considering final approval of the concept plan for the Modern West 2 development which is four stories high and right off the departure end of runway 29 at KLMO. The council seems inclined to approve this development even though they have received several letters from the FAA stating that it is incompatible land use that violates airport grant assurances. The mayor has recently questioned the wisdom of approving the development over FAA objections, so there is a chance the council will reconsider. This meeting is the best and possibly last opportunity for local pilots to voice their concerns.
Speakers must sign up before 7 pm and specify item 10e. Speakers have 3 minutes. You do not need to be a Longmont resident to speak. You can watch the event online but you can't participate, so we encourage attending in person.
