FAA Weather Camera Webinar
I would like to extend an invitation to attend our upcoming webinar titled “FAA Weather Cameras, A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words” on December 6th at 1pm EST. To attend please visit the following link: https://youtu.be/5Nul-Khiog4

Here is what is you can expect from the webinar!
Overview of the FAA Weather Cameras system and how it enhances aviation safety
Hear from pilots that use Weather Cameras and the benefits they provide
Hear from CONUS States that have successfully integrated their own Weather Cameras into the FAA 3rd party hosting program
Learn about how to provide feedback on future Weather Camera Location recommendations

If you are not familiar with the FAA Weather Camera Program, let me share some additional information. The Program began in 1999 to address aviation accidents that were resulting from a lack of adequate weather information across the state of Alaska. Since the program’s inception, over 240 FAA-owned camera sites have been installed in Alaska and Hawaii. Weather Cameras have aided in an 85% reduction in weather-related accidents and a 69% reduction in weather-related flight interruptions in the state of Alaska since 2007.

Weather Cameras have been key to enhancing aviation safety in locations such as airports, mountain passes, and other in route locations where no other weather information is available.
